Definition
CPU-Z is a free system profiling tool designed to gather detailed, real-time information about the hardware inside a Windows or Android device. Its central job is hardware identification: showing the exact processor, motherboard, memory, and basic graphics specifications installed on the machine.
Unlike overclocking or tuning suites, CPU-Z is a read-only reporting utility. It does not change voltages, multipliers, or BIOS options. You use it to observe and document—not to modify—your system.
What problems CPU-Z solves
